Introduction

Anyone who has ever heard Heavy Bones' music should really let it be known they want to see the guys play live and or record again, I think it would be a real gem to the rock world because this was a band that really had it all and I still think people need to discover this group's music! Everyone knows the guys for their other respective band's great musical output but this was like a masterpiece record really from all of them. Frankie's drum tone alone should have won him drummer of the year for this album! I always knew Joel had a great voice since hearing him with Cats but this album showed me what an incredibly melodic, soulful, charismatic and epic singer he really is, Everyone on this album was in top form and the result was amazing in both performance and the songwriting!

There is some talk of a HEAVY BONES reunion. The fans got to speak up so it can happen! So say it loud and proud! In the 90's there was in my opinion no better release in melodic hard rock then this self titled masterpiece. Led by the amazing vocal talent of Joel Ellis (Cats in Boots) , the brilliant guitar work of Gary Hoey and the drumming mastery of Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot, W.A.S.P) they wrote some real rock gems like this song "Where Eages Fly", one of my favorite on the album, beautiful and epic!

Turn It On is a really terrific ballad from HEAVY BONES, some really awesome musicianship throughout this entire album! I remember hearing this whole album while driving through the desert on the way to Vegas and it just made my long drive so much better it just took me somewhere else far away. One of those songs that just sends you on a memory journey, the melodies and the voice are just so expressive, Lets see a HEAVY BONES Reunion!!
